How are Doodles created?

Doodles are handmade with care in beautiful Colorado. Each piece is hand cut on 1/4 inch mdf wood, hand sanded, and then hand painted by our artists.Your Doodle is made especially for you and each piece is an original work of art.

Why are Doodles better than murals?

Traditional murals that are painted directly on your wall can damage your wall and leave behind lines and colors that are difficult to remove - just painting over a mural will not erase them from your wall. Because Doodles are lightweight and sturdy they can be easily hung without damaging your wall, plus they can be taken with you if you move, updated for different themes as your child grows, and last a lifetime. In addition, the cost of paying for an artist to come into your home and do a wall mural is typically double the cost of our artist creating a Doodle perfect for your needs.

Can my piece be personalized?

Yes! If you would like to have your child's name added to a piece or prefer specific colors or sizes, contact us with your request and we will send you pricing information.

How are Doodles mounted?

There are many options for hanging Doodles and ultimately it is up to you what you think is the best and safest way to hang your Doodle.There are two options we recommend for hanging. You can use small nails such as finishing nails to secure your Doodle flush against the wall. Simply nail directly through the wood and into the wall. The wood will not crack and your Doodle can still be removed by an adult, but is secure enough that little hands cannot pull it off. Another option is picture hanging strips that can be purchased at any hardware store. These strips won't damage your wall and are easy to use. Be sure you are hanging your Doodle on a clean, dry, flat surface. Room Doodles LLC does not accept responsibility or liability for any damage from a Doodle coming off your wall as proper hanging and use of this product is beyond our control. All merchandise is sold under this condition.

How long will it take to receive my order and how is shipping calculated?

Allow 2-3 weeks time to receive your order. If you are concerned about the arrival date or need expidited service, feel free to call or email us with your concerns. Shipping costs $12 for the first item and $2 for each additional item.

I am looking for a specific theme that is not on your website, could you create it for me?

We have many available options that are not yet on our website. If you are looking for something specific and do not see it here, contact us and we'll create it for you. Our site is being updated regularly with new themes and images, so check back often to see what's new!
